Group Classes AvailableTinkering Tots: 12 Months to 3 Years
Musical Musicians: 3 Years to 5 Years Music by the Park: All Ages Welcome 
The ability of a young child is amazing. The group classes are separated into 12mths-3yrs and 3yrs-5yrs. The duration of each class is 45 min. weekly.
The group classes are built around routine and repetition, which can be differentiated to meet the needs of EACH child. Classes are designed to build memory and provoke thinking, as well as develop listening skills, concentration, respect for others and positive self-esteem, through a variety of musical genres, activities, games, songs, and instruments! The classes are taught in units based on classical music.
 At Giggling Ivory’s there is no limit to a child’s imagination or education! Tinkering TotsTinkering Tots is a group class for children 12 months to 3 years of age. Parent participation is required for this group.
This class is a great opportunity for parents with young children to meet other parents with children in and around the same age group. Each child will receive their own book, which they bring to each class on a weekly basis so we can fill it with each week's lesson and craft. This is a fun-filled class for both the parents and children, as they enjoy the benefits of a musical adventure while meeting new friends. Parents may also book a private class with friends.  Musical MusiciansMusical musicians is a group class for children 3 years to 5 years of age. Parent participation is not required, however parents are welcome to stay and watch the class.
Students will learn to identify musical instruments by sound and picture. They will also learn musical notation and have an introduction to the piano. They are supplied with a book for their weekly lesson which they bring each week so we can review what we have done the week before. |
